This chewed out my heart and then carassed it. Heartbreakingly beautiful.

So, so true. I think this also applies to grief more widely. It resonates with me regarding the end of marriage for instance or indeed any lost true love.

Kate,

Oh, my heart ~this ripples to me and through me and I'll send it out to move beyond me~

You have written a most divine piece: sweet salve for a broken, grief laden heart. Bless you and your loving soul for placing all of this in words.

Many blessings and MUCH LOVE,

~Wendy💜

"while grief is a wildly painful and unpredictable force, it’s also the only wound I know of that self heals with the very thing that caused it."

Another exquisite poem in the footer. 💜

“a monster—

that will come tidal one day,

and the next,

whisper it’s arrival like a scalpel to the jugular

while you’re driving to pick the kids up from school.” Truth.

Beautiful
